"My daughter arrived at the shop about 10 minutes before me and was told by Marty that they couldn't help her until I arrived. Not sure why because she is a legal adult. You are not allowed to look and pull dresses to try on. Poor, sweet Tammy is running and pulling dresses for everyone while Martie stood around. We were brought very ugly, outdated dresses to put on. My daughter didn't like any dresses brought to her. Martie then demanded that we try them on so she could see what she liked. I guess she doesn't realize her opinion doesn't matter, it's the person wearing the dress and the person who's paying for it that matters. I showed Martie a picture on my phone of a Jovani dress that my daughter loves. She looked at it and said "You people and your internet photos, that dress is sold out". The dress is not sold out. I told her never mind that we would just go where we got her Miss Alabama wardrobe. And that I've had that dress in the photo on my daughter in 2 different colors. Once she found out my daughter was a Miss Alabama title holder she tried too change her tune saying she could order it for us even though she just said it's sold out. The "you people" comment was it for me, extremely disrespectful. Go to The Clothes Tree by Deborah or Bellas. You can pick out what YOU like. There was another girl there who was crying because they were doing the same thing to her. This girl was complaining in the dressing room next to us. 3/22/23 Response to owner-I rented a dress for my daughter there 3 years ago and I pulled the dresses not anyone else. We get one on one treatment at the other shops, that's not just something that only happens at your shop. Lol. I like how you won't apologize for your disrespectful "you people" comment or refusing to help her until I got there. Not the first time you've been rude either. Only reason I came there when I was competing was Denise."

"While myself and my daughter loved the dress she got and her accessories there is a definite rudeness to the shop owner. I was headed there to return the dress and my car broke down. I tried calling and there was no answer so I left a voicemail. The next day as I'm headed there I get a voicemail asking why I hadn't returned the dress that I was late and the proceeded to say in the same breath oh wait it's not due to be here til next Thursday. So I still call back and leave a voicemail saying I was on my way there with the dress even though, according to her vm, it was still a week early. I arrive at the shop and I'm immediately met with why didn't you return the dress yesterday you're late and something about how she pays for drycleaning and I messed that up. I realize she is older and more stern but from beginning to end it was a very arrogant feel but this is the pageant world. Still there is absolutely no need to be rude to clients as I even wore their dresses as a child. I think we will return in the future if my daughter decides to do a pageant and the environment will just have to be tolerated. I have recommended them to other people though bc they do have a great selection and the lady who does the fitting and dress selection is so SO AMAZING"

"Me and my best friend came back to give this place a try once more since our first experience was not the best. The owner was very pushy and adamant in us finding a dress here. Not only that but she was very rude. We were not allowed to look through dresses ourselves but rather tell an employee what we wanted. We are both very picky. When we informed the owner that we needed to leave and did not find a dress she threw a fit. Another policy was not allowing us to take pictures of us in dresses. Whenever I did take one, the owner told me “you need to delete those.” It was an overall unprofessional and tense environment. Tammy had assisted us, she was very kind! However, she did not really meet the needs in the requirements we asked for."

"We should have gone here first. They were super busy but that did not stop them from giving us complete service. They had an incredible rental selection out of which they brought my daughter the perfect dress. She was beside herself with happiness. They were very candid about what is in style this year and what isn’t, even though they have whatever you want in stock, which was helpful for my daughter. Will definitely visit them again come prom time and next year’s pageant."

"Stood in line over 3 hours yesterday, we got a free dress because my daughter won last year in one of her dresses, after 3 hours in line she states to us we only have 3 options in the crowing dresses and they look like some that had been there for years I hated all 3 choices she said it's them or nothing! I rented many dresses over the years here for them to act like my daughter didn't matter after we stood in line 3 hours ! It wouldn't have hurt them to pull at least a color that looks good on her sense she is darker skin toned!! Very unhappy with the customer service ! They lost a long time customer yesterday ! As my daughter said it's like they was punishing her foe winning in their dress because the 3 options they bring out was something me or her both would have never ever chose ! We left with nothing after 3 hours !!! Very disappointed long time customer !!"
