"I would not go here for comprehensive allergy testing. While staff are kind, it felt rushed and they refused to test for more than one sheet of basic allergens. I was told they could only test for certain things and some of the specific allergens I had booked my appointment to test for weren't possible. They skin tested me for about a page of very basic allergens and then told me I had no allergies, despite not testing me for the allergens I was concerned about because they didn't have the ability to do a more comprehensive skin test. They claimed they could only pick so many and 'can't test for everything', but I had a very different experience at a different clinic that contradicted this. I was retested elsewhere which was a much more thorough process where I felt truly listened to and where I received the answers that Birmingham Allergy was unwilling / unable to provide me. If you're not concerned about a very common allergy like dust or nuts, I would go elsewhere. I'm not sure if it's a true limitation of resources or if it was dismissive care, but regardless I would not come back."
"I have had flu and extreme wheezing for over a week. I told the receptionist when I booked that I had flu, I filled out the papers that I had flu, I told the nurse I recently had flu. They asked me to leave the office, go to my car and wait for a call. The NP Jennifer calls and tells me that if I’m wheezing that badly I should go to my primary and get a chest xray. Why would you have a specialist if it is not for times like this?"

"Dr. Chung and the nurses there are so easy to work with and care for their patients wonderfully. The front reception desk workers are always easy to work with and if they don't answer when you call at first, just leave a message and they get back to you promptly! Allergy shots are a huge commitment, but the women at Birmingham Allergy & Asthma make it an easier process!"
"Dr. Chung did a very thorough initial evaluation and gave me a detailed treatment plan the same day. The office staff were also friendly and helpful. I am very satisfied with their care and would recommend them to other allergy sufferers!"
