“Had my 60th birthday here because it is the best Indian Restaurant in Adelaide with Authentic home-cooked food. Try the Beef Vindaloo ...amazing. Since the Tandoori Oven closed down years and years ago, there has been no restaurant to replace it.....until now, at least when it comes to food. And a bonus is that it ridiculously affordable. Please give this lovely family a try, at least once and then you will become a loyal patron.”

“Bella cosa was an ideal spot to spend a few days. The Gallery was very well equipped, spacious , quiet and private. My gluten intolerance was well catered for and i loved the description of where all the foods had been supplied from. Small touches such as "welcome" spelt out in scrabble tiles on the coffee table and a welcome also on the blackboard immediately set the scene. Of particular note was the online accommodation and region guide. this was a unique touch that allowed us to manage all equipment etc easily and without stress. The electronic lock was also very welcome as it obviated the need to acquire, carry and return a physical key. A great ideaa. This accomodation is to be highly recommended”

“Stayed at the Rockford Hotel we was so convenient as it’s next door. Food was amazing, we did the feed me menu which was well worth it and the food was exceptional. They pour premium spirits as their house pours and the wines were endless. We have dined here on a number occasions and it never fails to impress.”

“My main place in the Hills to grocery shop. (Only shop at Coles for stuff I can't get there, which isn't often). The produce is local, superb, much better quality than the regular supermarkets and lasts so much longer. The Hahndorf coffee beans are great and the 'market made' treats are so tasty! Prices are competitive and fair, for such high quality and from an independent grocer (and boy do we need these guys!). The staff are wonderful. And I love that they are open until 6 pm weekdays so I can pop in on my way home from work. What more do you need? :) ETA: How could I forget the sourdough bread? It's sensational! Oh and don't forget the cheeses, dairy and flowers...”

“Best coffee in Compass, hard to find better coffee in a 30 km radius. Great food, gluten free options. Staff are fabulous. I can't think of anything I could fault them for. The owner makes his own gelati with seasonal fruits and it's the best I've had in 3 states and 2 countries”

“I will start with the bad point, which was only one and not related to the food. Booking: When booking, there was an option to select any special occasion. I selected “anniversary” and explained that it would be our 5th year marriage anniversary celebration at Chianti. However, when getting there, there was absolutely nothing extra (flowers, champagne, or a special cake). I would gladly pay for any extra service, but why put an option in the booking if you are not doing anything different for the guests regardless if there is a special occasion or not? Staff: extremely friendly and always asking if the food was good or if we needed anything else. Enough to make us feel cared about, but at the same time not too much to annoy us. I was more than happy to tip him 10% for the exceptional service. My glass was always full, so that’s a plus. Food: the quantity was just enough to satisfy me, but not enough to feel completely full. In my point of view, it is the perfect amount. Ingredients and quality are beyond words. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked. There was nothing that we felt like “meh or could have been better”. Service: 10 points just for having a sharpened knife. I’ve been to places where the knife could not even cut butter… also, the timing between plates was perfect. Not to soon so we could appreciate the food we just ate between plates, but not too long either to make us feel impatient. Value: it is not cheap if you considered amount of food VS price. However the quality of the food and the friendly staff makes you feel that it was worth every single cent. Overall, it is a great Italian cuisine choice. Would definitely recommend for a romantic dinner or for business”

“Staff were friendly, food was delicious. Only gripe was I didn't check my order before leaving so didn't notice that prawn crackers were missing from my order. In saying that I would still return as the food is definitely worth it.”
