“I had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Alba Hotel for a delightful span of five days, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of splendid. The opulent room decor truly captivated my senses, and I was impressed by the generous spaciousness of the accommodations. The expansive bathroom, too, was a remarkable feature, boasting grandeur and elegance. Moreover, I cannot emphasize enough the exceptional service provided by the staff. The receptionists, particularly the charming, plump blondes adorning their radiant smiles during the nocturnal hours in their resplendent blue attire, were an absolute vision of breathtaking beauty. Their presence added an enchanting touch to the already remarkable hotel ambiance. Indeed, the hotel staff proved to be immensely helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. In terms of dining options, the nearby gastronomic establishments proved to be a true delight. The pizza and pasta emporium, along with the Indian culinary gem named Indian Delight, were both exceptional. The culinary offerings were nothing short of awe-inspiring, tantalizing my taste buds with their delectable flavors. As for the sleeping arrangements, the beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Furthermore, the presence of abundant USB charging ports catered to the needs of the modern traveler, while the thoughtfully designed dimming lights provided a soothing ambiance. One cannot overlook the mesmerizing park view visible from the expansive balcony, which left me in awe of the natural beauty surrounding the hotel. Additionally, the immaculate carpeting in the room added a touch of elegance and sophistication. For those venturing to the captivating city of Adelaide, I highly recommend the Alba Hotel as an impeccable place to stay. Not only does it offer an unparalleled experience, but it also remains an economically attractive option for discerning travelers.”

“The 3 Divas is a hidden gem in the centre of the McLaren Vale region. Dee and Greg are an absolute delight. We were able to check in early, the fridge was stocked with daily gourmet goodies. The Moscato cottage is full of history and decorated beautifully. Romantic and peaceful but still in walking distance to all the best places. We needed a few items and Dee was able to accommodate in record time! So many interesting books to read, luxurious bath robes and plenty of space. “I was not a guest there myself. I visited a friend who was a guest during a interstate trip to Adelaide. The facilities were very nice, clean and well maintained. My friends was off the main street so quiet accommodation was appreciated. Nice grounds and ample parking for guests and visitors.”

“What a gem of a place! We stayed in Hillside House and the view of the vineyard, combined with the tranquility of the location, is absolutely out of this world. Moreover, there were bunnies hopping around the grassy area next to the house. You can watch the sunrise in bed from one of the bedrooms. The property is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Currant Shed (delish food) is only a 3 min walk down the hill. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you for a magical stay!”

“Lost...and found...in the Vines What a wonderful week spent in Mclaren Vale at Tintookie Vineyards, earlier this month. The beautiful property is close to the town of McLaren Vale, so easy access to shops, cafes and restaurants, not to mention all the wineries of the region and their cellar doors. It is easy access to the southern motor way and only 45 mins drive to Adelaide, the beaches are also a short drive away...so an excellent location. The cottage was everything that it promised...and more! We felt at home the minute we stepped inside. The view was breathtaking, the cottage itself was superbly presented with comfortable furnishings and bedding, fully equipped kitchen and generous provisions. There were lots of thoughtful personal touches, that made the stay all that more special. Lulu, our host was extremely welcoming and friendly, nothing was any trouble, and the home baked goodies and generous provisions we were spoilt with was again that extra thoughtful touch we were not expecting....And the estate wine from Tintookie Vineyards | Dowie Doole was excellent! “Convenient location, close to McLaren Vale but peaceful and quiet. Close to a lot of fine dining restaurants and cellar doors. Beautifully decorated place better than a lot of 4 or 5 star hotel. Sit back and relax, listen to the bird chirping on the deck with table and chairs, fire up a BBQ if you into it, sheeps baa baaa baaaa-ing. If u go there with kids, your kids will love the 2 sheeps on site. Ask Peter, the host for permissions to feed the sheeps and chooks. Oh and keep your eyes open for koalas. We saw one running across the yard to the trees area.”

“Wow. The apartment is exceptional. Excellent quality furnishings. The bed was super comfortable, the decor was very tasteful and the kitchen was well equipped! The highlight of this apartment, of course, was the view. We arrived when it was cloudy, windy and rainy - the view was gorgeous then (think dramatic waves). On sunny clear days, the view was magical. We were lucky to see dolphins play. The location is perfect (a car is a must). While there are amazing eateries nearby, we loved cooking dinner at home to watch the amazing sunset over the water. 10/10.”

“Immaculately clean and plenty of bathroom products and stocked kitchen. Spacious inside and verandah provided a lovely location for a sheltered drink in the sun. Highly recommend as very close to Willunga historic main street and close to McLaren Vale and many wineries. Very efficient and professional owners. Easy to do business with.”

“We stayed at the Millery in June 2023. The accommodation was beautiful - from the decor through to the thoughtful and high quality amenities - and the hosts were lovely. They relly cater for all your needs. The fireplace, record player, outdoor bath, welcome platter and wine, and English breakfast provisions were particular highlights. The Old Chaff Mill Retreat is very well located, being only a short drive from many many wineries, restaurants and cute townships. Highly recommend and we will be sure to return when we are next in the region.”

“Beautiful converted cottage in a lovely setting in McLaren Vale. The owners are absolutely charming. The fireplaces were very welcome, and the modern bathroom was a very nice touch (rustic charm only goes so far!). It's in a nice location, not too far from the town (although if you've been drinking, food is a short drive away and you'll have very few options for food delivery, so plan ahead). I would definitely stay here again.”

“Josh and Bec were fantastic and flexible in their support during a recent unplanned stay. A bit different to the kid oriented Big4's I have stayed at prior. This location currently is best suited to grey nomads and pets. Overall a beautiful well manicured location, excellent amenities, and plenty of space. Very interesting to see what Josh, Bec and new management will do with the place. I will be back. P.s - Touring with an offroad camper, I'm a big fan of the powered plus ensuite option that these guys offer!”
