“Cutest place ever for turkish kebab. Great value. Have had both mixed and chicken lunch specials - chicken could do with a bit more seasoning and I'm not a huge fan of lamb - just wanted to try it - yummy for people who like lamb. Some guy shared his chips with me (crinkle cut) and the salt was amazing on the chips!! They were crispy and crunchy. Have been here twice now so yes would return and love the seating arrangements.”

We had the Wasabi Prawns and Beef Tapsilog, cooked perfectly and packed full of flavour. 100% will be returning to try your pizza!”

“Excellent service. Fun and charming place and the food was excellent. They do a feed me menu. Tacos were all great but I especially loved the tortilla soup for something different. Bustling small place definitely recommend to book but very cool decorations and delicious Margheritas. They also had a lot of other traditional Mexican liquor I will have to return to try. Huge selection of tequilas. So glad to see such an establishment livening up the Port.”

“They work quick and efficient. I get my food within seconds even when its busy. The food is delicious. They are a pretty popular shops when it gets very busy. They have good prices for their meals.”

“Love Blackjack burgers! Great value. Massive burgers. Biggest, thickest, juiciest chicken. My first two orders were better than this last one. Was still good, just a little too big and the burger fell apart really quickly. Onion rings quantity was small and barely warm. But overall, really good food and great service, awesome delivery drivers.”

“Cannot fault this place! Fantastic friendly service from the moment we walked in (with no booking). Nice seating outside looking over the Port River, warm on a cool night thanks to the clear blinds. Would also be lovely in the day time with them open. Surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night, with lots of families and a lovely vibe. The food (chicken schnitzels) came out so fast and were really tasty and large. Good price at $17 on special on Mon, Tues and Wed (normally $22). I couldn't finish mine and they gave me a container to take away. Definitely recommend for a very good pub meal in a nice location. Probably best to book for a large group or at a more popular time!”

“I have been coming to Chicken Chef here at the North East road on a regular basis. The fries are my "go to" orders. My kids love them. They also give generously in their servings both in the fries and in their range of salads. Staff members are also friendly and greets you wish a smile. This Chicken Chef branch is a decent sized take away place and their venue is always clean and neat. Inside there are a few spots to wait for your take away but also a small area to dine in, if you wish. There is also ample parking both at the front and at the rear of their shop. The place can be very busy at time especially during the weekend, so hot tip - order via phone (gets you in the oder que already), then pay once you arrive and but you still get your order hot (like the fries) because they give you newly cooked ones as you arrive and pay - pretty much no waiting.”

“Haven't been to Fasta Pasta for what feels like a decade (wasn't close to one) and now I'm a little bit disappointed I have missed out all that time. I was really happy with all aspects of the dinner experience. Main serve of pasta was really generous and tasty. Meals were served quickly after ordering at the bar. Great kid's menu options served with a drink and gelati. Customer service was exceptional and even worked with the chef to accommodate a pasta dish not on the menu. Definitely be back.”

“My partner and I and another friend all went for lunch there on Saturday it was a first time for us but on invitation from the friend thats been before . We couldn't have been more impressed with the food quality the salad and vegie bar was excellent , the service and the value . We will definately be going back to the grand North .”

“Randomly went here and realised it was Voted SAs Best First and Chip shop and it lived to that hype I believe. Chips were cooked perfectly even with their deceiving colour and the fish and calamari were fantastic.”

I ordered the surf and turf and was delighted to find that the steak was larger than anticipated, making me very happy. Additionally, it was cooked to perfection according to my preference. Despite living nearby for several years, I had never tried this restaurant before. In retrospect, I feel foolish for missing out on many wonderful dining experiences.”
