He was extremely attentive to our needs and knowledgeable and gave us his undivided attention not just to my husband, but to me as well. He has excellent communication skills and listens intently and guided us through the options very skillfully. I can't recommend the young guy highly enough. I would like to add when I spoke to James the boss, he too was outstanding so much better than the previous staff/owners. He was very polite and spoke with a smile which accounts for a lot these days. As soon as we walked into the shop we noticed a big difference to the culture and the fact that there were more customers than we'd seen in a long time and it was a Monday! “I'll preface this by saying that I don't normally leave reviews, but have to on this occasion. The rooms were a 4/5, clean and tidy as we expected. 5/5 to the wonderful chef who greeted us each morning during our buffet breakfast and was a ray of sunshine. On the first morning, Sharon (I believe this is her name) approached us and welcomed us to breakfast, asked us about our stay, talked us through the buffet options and even made recommendations. She highly recommended the omelette, which she cooked for us the next day and I can confirm it was amazing 10/10. Sharon was very observant throughout service and made sure to greet guests as well as to say goodbye as they were leaving. She even recognised returning guests and seemed excited to have them return. Her positivity and enthusiasm was contagious! Breakfast time is obviously a very busy time for a chef, but Sharon made every request seem easy and every guest feel valued which is a testament to her professionalism. Throughout a hotel experience, it's the little things that count and Sharon went above and beyond which was the highlight of our stay. Hats off to the chef!”

“Great place to eat lunch. The pollo asado salad was delicious, fresh and big. The days soup was tasty and clean with some golden, light, fluffy homemade toasted cheese bread. Definitely glad we stopped here. Staff were exceptional too.”

“This place serves up amazing, authentic Napoletana style pizza and a great range of delicious “not pizza” items. Everything was top notch. Favourite pizza was probably the Gorgonzola one. The broccolini and brussells were also delicious. Everything was good though. Would highly recommend.”

“What a funky bar of hip from out of space - loved it! A cosy, intimate venue packed with Adelaide’s bohemian elite! The voodoo cocktail was magically mixed and tasted sensational. Friendly service and an overall lovely evening.”

“Easily Adelaide's best burger, whether chicken or beef. So fresh and flavoursome. The Comeback sauce is iconic. Highly recommend the blended Strawberry marg from their cocktails list. Staff are always friendly. Toilets sit lower than you might expect.”

“Myself and my partner came to this venue for a little date night. This venue is brilliant and really does cater to everyone. It has a decent selection of beers, wines and spirited and a basic but tasty selection of burgers, pizzas, wingz ect. Whilst you wait for your game to commence within the bowling alley you can head over to the arcade if you aren’t indulging in the tasty food at the bar. The arcade has allot of variety and killed a solid 30 minutes with ease for myself and my partner, we then headed over to our bowling alley and had a great time, I’m sure we will be back sometime as this venue is great.”

“The Brecknock is an awesome local Irish pub, easily the most authentic in Adelaide! Great prices, amazingly friendly staff, frequent open mic and music nights, always a good place to stop in on the way to dinner or to meet people in the city. Check it out!”

“The party was really good fun! ZinZan and Amelia were excellent hosts and took care of everything, they were with us the entire time and helped out with games. There was a mix up with the food which I think happened from the kitchen. We got given heaps of hotdogs, and were short some orders of nuggets, but Amelia had the kitchen make some more which was good. I would definitely recommend having a party at Timezone Woodville.”

“Super Bueno is such a fun place for a cheeky mid week night out. Their $15 pasta special on Wednesday is awesome, meaning you don’t feel bad about trying all the things. Also the espresso martini’s are some of the best I have had anywhere!”

“Out of all the clubs on Hindley Street in Adelaide, Jive is my favourite. A little bit smaller (and less crowded than most), entry is always $5 and the music is pumping --usually dance-worthy throwbacks to the 70s, 80s and 90s. Naturally there are normal club issues --sticky floors and a wait for the bathroom, but none of it seems to matter when you're having a good time. I really recommend Jive, especially for its themed dance nights (usually on Saturdays).”
