Crossgate Lanes

"Came in worth a group of nine at 10:15pm. They close at midnight. The girl was rude and said she would only sell us 1 game. If we bowl fast she might sell us another but they have a tournament in the morning and the boss has been up our butt… We bowled everyone in 28 minutes. Now, we are ready to bowl another game and she indicated she indicated she will not allow it. We would be out at least a half hour before closing time but at this point I don’t think I will bring my group here again. Two stars because of 50% empty lanes so it was easy to grab a couple. The lanes are nice. Minus three stars for the attitude of the employee."

"Called to make sure they were open (4th of July). They were. Asked if I could make a reservation - group of 4. The lady said they don’t do same-day reservations. But they accept walk-ins, have no leagues playing today, and many open lanes. Arrived an hour later. Saw many open lanes. Was told there is a waitlist with four groups ahead of us. Asked about the open lanes. Was told several are out of order and the remaining are reserved. We left. Felt misled (I.e. lied to) and definitely like a very poorly run business that makes customers wait while at the same time has open lanes. Really bad."

"The aim was just to have a date playing bowling, drinking and eating some fast food! To my surprise, there were only two hotdog sausages left when I arrived, and remarkably, after more than an hour of play, there were two sausages again merrily circling the revolving oven wheel. Is it like how they are trying to be eco friendly??? The cost for an hour of bowling amounted to roughly $40+. We couldn't resist the temptation of adding some beer and snacks to our order. In total, we indulged in 2 hot dogs and 2 servings of nachos, making for a satisfying and fun dining experience. I wanted to add more hotdogs, but as I mentioned above, they had only 2. And they got 2 more only at the end of our play."

"Super fun for a decent price. The woman at the counter was informative and helpful. The shoes are pretty good quality and clean. Gentleman working here was incredibly helpful when our 2yr old got the ball stuck at the end of the gutter lane. Bathrooms are kept clean. Relaxing place to enjoy bowling for yourself, family or friends. We will be glad to return!"

"This was so much fun! We took our kids (3 and 6) for a night of bowling. Prices were reasonable. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They had bumper lanes and even a ball ramp for the 3 year old to use (though he quickly decided he wanted to bowl without it like his sister). A lot of family fun!"
