"I recently visited a public storage location, hoping for a smooth process in reserving a unit, but was met with an experience that was anything but. The staff member present, a lady whose approach to customer service was perplexingly hostile, left much to be desired. From the get-go, her demeanor was off-putting, with an air of weirdness that made the entire interaction uncomfortable. Rather than assisting or guiding me through the process, she seemed more interested in asserting her authority, frequently citing “company policy” without any clarification on what these policies were. Her vague references were unhelpful and only served to create more confusion. The situation escalated when she made me leave the office while I was in the middle of reserving a storage unit online. It was as if my presence there was an inconvenience to her, rather than a potential business transaction for the company. Furthermore, her unsolicited comments on how I should be using my personal cellphone were not only inappropriate but also completely out of line. It seemed to me that her focus was anywhere but on providing customer service or support. Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing. In a service-oriented industry, one would expect at least a basic level of politeness and assistance. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. It’s a shame because the facility itself might be fine, but the service left a lot to be desired. I hope that this feedback can be a catalyst for change, as no customer should have to endure such an unwelcoming atmosphere."
