Village Green Health Campus

"My mother was to do her rehab here after a broken hip. After being there just a week, she had developed pneumonia and was to weak to do any physical therapy. She was extremely dehydrated and scared to drink as she feared she wouldnt be taken to the restroom in time. They were quick to jump to this may be her new norm and prepared us to possible longterm residency. After my brother and I kept pushing for answers blood work was done and she was soon admitted to Wayne Hospital. The next 48 hours I seen my mom turn around and was eating, sleeping and participating in physical therapy. She was eager and had life in her eyes again. It just shows you that the right care is everything. In my oppinion The Villiage Green is not that place."

"My mother goes here for adult day care. It gives her a chance for friendships and company. She loves going, the staff is caring, compassionate, friendly. This has been the best decision I made. If your looking for a safe place to send your loved one for a little company and friendship this is the place . Adult day care."

"Poor Leadership My reference is to my father. He spent more than 4 years at Village Green. In that time he had 3 different leaders running the facility. Occasionally, things come up and leadership is needed. Having three different leaders made it difficult. In many ways the staff is the same with a lot of turnover. So when you do have an issue that has lingered it is difficult to go back. My Dad needed an ambulance in May of 2021. Village Green was billed but refused to pay and then the bill was transferred to him in January of 2023. We addressed it with Ryan (current leader at the time, not the leader when ambulance was needed) and he said he would take care of it but never did. In August my Dad passed away and in January of 2024 as his estate is going through Probate he gets a large claim from the ambulance company. My sister and I go meet with a new temporary leader at village green. Her name was Karen and her title was interim. She listen and met with us, but the outcome was poor. She called my sister and gave her a 20 second response of NO and hung up on my sister before she could ask any follow up questions. Now there is a great many details here that I feel like I need to leave out for the sake of time, but imagine how disappointed my sister and I must feel to even write this review. The Village has changed in the 4 plus years that my dad was there. Not everything was terrible throughout his residency, but it is sad when leadership out right lies to you and when you try to address it professionally, they hang up on you. I write this because we have no other recourse then to write a bad review and it if this hurts their reputation - believe me that is point. You can’t treat people badly and expect good things to come of that."

"Village Green is a class act in every way! The facility is beautiful and clean without that “nursing home” smell. The residents seem happy and the staff is so compassionate. We recently had a family member there for rehab, but he went down in a hurry and went on hospice. He was treated so well right to the end and beyond. It’s one thing to do your job, but another to go above and beyond and Village Green goes above and beyond."
