"Extremely convenient parking for events at The Taft Theater."
"For context, I reserved a spot on the website associated with the party that controls these spaces to attend a Game Grumps live show. This place is particular, you do not need to print out the sheet/ticket - they verify it by your license plate, so much sure that info is correct. A couple hours before the show, the place was pretty full, and a man greets me saying, "Ah, you're who I've been waiting for!" He guided me to one of the last spots available, helps me reverse into it and we were all set! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much, but this made the experience less stressful for how many cars were there."
"Rip-Off!!! Park elsewhere. In October of 2022, we used this self-pay parking lot prior to attending an event at the Taft Theater. We properly paid, displayed the receipt on our front window. Cost was $20. When we returned from the concert we had a parking violation for $60. They claimed we were using two spaces. As their photos show, the rear passenger tire in on the line, and in no way extrudes into the adjacent space. All other tires were within the chosen space, in no way preventing a vehicle from using the adjacent space. As their photos further show, the van parked next to us is the culprit, straddling two spaces. Our dispute was summarily rejected. So they collected $80 from us, with no rebuttal possible, for their claim of us using 2 $20 spaces. Rip Off!!!"
"Do not use this place!! I walked to my apartment Lytle Towers to grab my wallet and come back and pay. The meter maid watched me walk to my apartment and walk back up to the booth to pay and wrote me a ticket. When I told him I was literally only there for 5 minutes which he admitted to seeing his response was “you should have paid” as I was walking back to the my car with the receipt! When I told him I wasn’t paying it and that it was absurd he told me to wait right there and walked back to his car and reached into it asking me if I was still going to be a problem. Not a good idea to threaten people I had no idea if he had a gun, taser or anything. I’m calling the office and filing a harassment report on him."
