Named after two of our favorite things—dogs and flannel shirts—our farm embodies a lifestyle that is comfortable, hard-working, and welcoming. Situated just a mile south of the picturesque Lake Erie, our seven-acre homestead in Saybrook is a haven for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat.
At Flannel Dog Farm, we are dedicated to sustainable living and environmental stewardship. Our farm is home to chickens, ducks, and bees, and serves as a pollinator and bird sanctuary. We cultivate a large vegetable and flower garden, while four acres are reserved for wildflowers and an emerging forest, creating a vibrant ecosystem that supports local wildlife.
For those looking to immerse themselves in nature, we offer unique accommodations including tent camping, a cozy tiny house, and a charming covered wagon. Guests can also explore Copper Leaf Studios, where my wife, Chris, creates stunning artwork and hosts a variety of engaging classes and workshops.
Indulge in our homemade sourdough bread and baked goods, crafted with love and available for purchase. Depending on the season, our offerings expand to include fresh eggs, honey, and a selection of homegrown produce.
