"From the food, to the service and the atmosphere...this place is a homerun!! Definitely a great night out for the whole family or just a little date night with your significant other. The owner, Ben came and checked on our table multiple times and was very personable. Will go back again and again! Mentor's best kept secret!"

"Overrated. Wouldn't take a large group there because the tables do not accommodate food AND games. The little side tables were an obvious quick fix that don't do much. Not to mention the amount of noise echoing off the place creating a loud roar and there weren't even that many people. Huge game selection with very little direction and bad labelling - looks like a kid put leftover stickers on them. If you don't know what you're looking for you'll be lost. Staff wasn't much help either and looked like even they didn't know what to do. Most end up standing at the bar just staring. From what I could tell, so did the owner. Food and drink were good but I can go anywhere for that, and probably at a lower price. I'll stick to game night at home and save my money/gas."

"A great place on for gaming and grub in Northeast Ohio. From board games to card games to roleplaying games, they have something for everyone. This is NOT a game store. You won't be inundated with packs of cards, booster boxes, or endless shelves of modules to buy. Rather, it's a place to go, unwind, hang with friends or family, and enjoy yourselves. Whether you're looking to get in a few rounds of traditional board games like Monopoly or Candy Land or something more intense like Descent or Villainous or card games like Champions or Vampire the Masquerade Rivals. Looking for some Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other TTRPG. bring your group to one of their spacious tables, even bring a couple tables together for larger groups (I've watched the staff be super helpful with this) or, better yet, reserve one of their awesome private rooms for games. Trust me--the videos and pics of these private rooms do NOT do them justice. The prices are a bit in flux as they get into the swing of things, so call ahead or ask them ahead of time, I know they've gone down from what they were originally which has enticed a lot more people--so, they've been booking up more often. I've even seen folk up there, enjoying some cozy drinks while doing puzzles. Yes, it's a tavern, but totally kid / family friendly and the staff there are family folk, bring their own kids in so you know it's a safe and welcoming atmosphere, but if you're kid averse, no worries, it's not overrun and/or out of control. The menu has some interesting choices on it you won't find anywhere else nearby, so it's good for a change and, just flat out, it's good. I've tried almost everything on the menu by now, but my favorite is probably the pepperoni flatbread, but I switch it up, get the pesto sauce on the flatbread with a side of their yummy marinara for dipping. The charcutier board has a habanero jam on there and I am NOT a spice person at all, but people were telling me how good it was, I brazen tried it...ummmmm....yeah, none left. Wife and I drink rarely and are very picky. These guys know how to mix something flavorful and yummy that makes it feels like I should be spending more. Definitely try the house special, Release the Kraken. They have some great plans to continue to grow and improve on the place as well, so stop in, be a patron to a local business, get some good food, make new friends (both staff and other patrons), play some games, have fun, and walk out feeling better than you did when you walked in. The more support they receive, the more awesome they are going to become. Be sure to check out the gaming supplies from dice to coins to minis locally made from local crafters or from small companies like Norse Foundry."
