"Talk about a place you ha e to work to see. The climb is tough which makes it worthwhile. Getting to prop your bike on a tree while you take on some water to prepare for the descent is a real reward. The view is inspiring and the ridde down is a thrill. Do keep in mind that traffic travels both ways so you can and will encounter folks moving toward you. Keep your eyes peeled on the farthest point you can see so you can brake to avoid collisions. Also if you stop on the trail check carefully for critters before sitting as I got a close up view of a snake while on a break myself. Enjoy this amazing resource."
