"If you are reading this, you must be new to town. Welcome to Rocky Top! A year or so ago, this town used to be called Lake City, but since there isn't technically a lake in this town, they changed it to match a town song... that doesn't really match this town either. I personally think this is a plain redneck town; By that I mean you'll hear engines roaring from neglected vehicles, see teens smoking down the street & at the park, and quite a few hoarding neighbors with stuff and or cats on their porches. Anyway, this is Town Hall, which holds its town meetings the 3rd Thursday of every month to discuss budgets, crime, events, etc. You will often see visitors and neighbors from the town of Clinton. This is also the building you are going to be paying for your bill for water, sewer and garbage pick up. They accept most forms of payment, but add a fee if you wish to use a credit or debit card. Garbage days are usually Monday's or Tuesday's depending on your address. Last year, our neighborhood had a problem with our sewer system leaking into a drainage ditch and blowing the smell everywhere. After the snow melted, the city found the manhole cover that was buried, waited for the snow to melt then replaced the broken pipe three weeks later. Lastly, they covered the sewage with lime to absorb the smell and waste. The pipes and manhole that was exposed is so rusted it needs to be replaced."
