"This is a really nice hike. If you want an easier hike with less elevation change stay to the left and follow the river, then come back the way you came. The full loop has an elevation change equal to 20 flights of steps according to my watch."

"Great trail near Norris Dam. (City of Clinton was not far away on I75). Trail got too slippery today as trail got near water. We had to turn back but it was fun while it lasted. We hiked about two miles. Adam was our trail guide. He was very informative on Trillion plants, Violin head plants, fern plants, and Salmon plants. He checked on us who were at the end of his group to see how we were doing. Enjoyable experience, but we will wear shoes with a better grip next time we hike thus trail. Those people who had metal hiking sticks? They knew they would need them to steady themselves on the narrow and slippery parts of the trail."

"Fun trail that reconnects you with nature. The walking path is 3 miles long and is both uphill, downhill and near the rivers edge. Be sure to wear good comfortable hiking shoes."
