"Moved to Laporte recently and they wouldn’t give me food because I have a Michigan city address on my id thought it was illegal to deny food at a food bank according to Indiana law but they don’t care. If you live in the county you should be able to get food. When I lived in Michigan city people from Laporte would come and be in our lines and get the food from there but now that I’m here I can’t get food because my address is in Michigan city? But the Laporte people go to the Michigan city food pantries and get served mcs food! When there’s a lot of Laporte people that come there’s not enough food for the mc people coming through then we get denied at the Laporte food pantries! We can’t win to loose with these food pantries and all we want is a little assistance getting food, but they deny you for your address which again is against Indiana law."
