"Lynn at A & L Fab. took good care of me again. I built my first basement cedar sauna 20+ years with an Ilo 6KW heater. That sauna is still running strong. I built a new house recently and missed my old sauna so I just finished building a new one. Same design with another Ilo 6KW heater. If you want a legit, reasonably priced, reliable sauna heater made in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, buy from A & L Fabricating. They know saunas."

"Got our heater today. Lynn was great to work with. Responded to all of my questions and concerns. If I didn't get a hold of her on the phone, she always replied or emailed me back. It was supposed to take a month to get our heater. Some of the parts didn't make it in, and Lynn let me know it was going to be close to another month. No big deal. It can take 6 months right now to buy a sofa...so two months for our customer heater is fine with me. We didn't want a mass produced unit. I would definitely refer them to friends/family. Other reviews on this company haven't been too kind. If you're looking for a touchy-feely customer service experience with a live-chat feature and bells and whistles on their website...go to the next company. It's a family business concerned with turning out a high quality product, not how their social media looks or how many likes they have. Thanks ILO !!!"

"Currently wondering if these guys are still in business. I first contacted A&L about getting my Ilo sauna updated so I bought a new base and one of three new elements. I wanted to buy two, additional, new elements but they were not in stock. So, since then, I've been waiting. Was first told it would be the 2nd or 3rd week of March, then the end of March. Now it's the end of April and still not a single call or explanation. I see another review from the past couple of months that is positive which makes me think it may be fake (sounds fake IMO). Guess I should just give up waiting and get a new sauna stove elsewhere. Sucks because I really wanted to support this local business but the service has been about as reliable as the stove (not very good)."

"I called A & L and spoke to Lori about replacing my Control Panel & buying two 7kw Elements. She gave me such a deal, I ordered a New Stove Package on a Friday, 2 weeks later I picked it up. Can't say enough about the prompt professional service. Also, this stove is made right here in the Copper Country, USA as it has been for 3 Generations. Don't settle for anything less than the best. "I recently bought a house with an ilo sauna installed in it. The heating element was bad, so I called this company for parts. This being a local company that is only a few hours away I thought this would be an easy fix. It took me almost a week to finally get a lady to answer the phone. Once I got to talk to someone they explained that the elements were not in stock and to call back in two weeks. They would be back from vacation and the parts would be starting to come in for the fall season. I called Back 3 weeks later and explained my story once again to the lady. All I wanted was the lady to say I have the parts, come buy them. I start to get the run around about how there is a list for parts and if I didn't email her before then I would be on the bottom of the list. She never said anything about email on our prior call. Now I was getting tired of the run around. I emailed her with my information. And it has now been a month with no response. Never been this hard to try to give someone my money. I ripped out the ilo sauna and ordered a new sauna from a different company. I will tell anyone that comes over for the next few years my story and never recommend this company to anyone! Worst local service experience in my life, hands down!"
