"7/21/24 Had the Sunday Buffet a here. Very cute and cozy. Wait staff was very nice and attentive. I was a bit disappointed in the food. Everything was all carb dishes. The chicken and Rice dish, I believe to be a Spanish star was bland and chicken was dry. The chicken and pasta dish was very good, chicken pot pie was good, as was the beef and noodles. The vegetable of the day was baby carrots, seasoning was good, some of the carrots were not steamed enough and were very crunchy. There was mashed potatoes and Sloppy Joes, which we did not try, but would have been a hit with the kids. There was a nice tossed salad with a nice variety of greens. The rolls were good, served with a cinnamon butter, which I believe had some of their home harvested honey which was nice. I really liked the spinach and goat cheese wedges with a homemade pesto. The dessert table had banana pudding, which I did not try, a delicious chocolate layered dessert, which was so moist and delicious. Also was. A delectable peanut butter type crispy bar covered in dark chocolate...so good!. We were disappointed that all meals were startched base and no selection of a protein dish. Brunch was $20. Per person, plus extra for drinks . Hubby tried the grape infused sweet tea and I partook of a glass of a mild sweet wine. All and all I would not make the trip from the South side of Lafayette to Brazil to eat there again. We dined inside, however there was a pleasant outside dining area looking over the lake. I felt it was too expensive for the casserole type dishes we had"

"If this is the best around, you all need to have your taste buds checked. The food was a total miss in so many ways. Flavor, flavor, flavor where were you. Dry meats with plastic/fiber in and around it. Two long blond/gray hairs , one on the dish with food on top if it. One mixed in with the potatoes. The rolls were good, with the fluffy cinnamon butter."

"This is by far the best restaurant in Brazil, Indiana! While the hours and menu are a bit limited compared to an average restaurant, once you go, you won’t be disappointed. Our first visit was for Father’s Day lunch and boy were we impressed. The service was prompt, the food was outstanding and in huge quantities, and the view was gorgeous. The small details were appreciated too (honeybee napkin ring and honeybee themed coffee mug). The staff was warm and friendly and I couldn’t believe the price… very reasonable. Outside you can walk down to the water and take a turn on the tree swing. We will be bringing any out of town guests here in the future."

"This is one of the coolest places we have ever eaten! If you want a delicious home cooked meal in a friendly, quaint atmosphere this is the place for you! The food was phenomenal-simple but very flavorful. We were passing through but I wish we had a place like this at home! The most interesting thing is they have a different menu every week and have the option of doing a sample plate of main dish and dessert items so you can try everything! If you go you absolutely must try the grape tea! It was amazing! I am definitely bookmarking this place for the future in case we ever happen to be passing back through Brazil, Indiana because we absolutely want to go back if we're in the area."
