Sun Rise & Dine Restaurant

"Been here several times over the years, usually pretty good food and previously had excellent service from the staff. Today however, went with my wife and 3 kids, and requested a booth to sit in. Two teenagers behind the counter told my wife no, and insisted on a table. We said that we were willing to deal with the tight space of a booth and would prefer one, to which an older waitress and what I presume was a manager said "do whatever you'd like." But the teenagers chimed in again, first saying "people just need to sit where we tell them to," and then following up with "no, you need to sit at a table." We declined, and decided instead to eat elsewhere. Not sure who actually runs the place, but willing to give it another chance if these teenagers aren't calling the shots."

"FOOD: Salad- solid yellow Smothered chicken- extremely dry yet swimming on the plate Baked potato- so cold it didn't even begin to melt the huge chunk of butter that was slapped in the middle SERVICE: The waitress didn't seem to see an issue with the salad. Dropped the entrees and never returned until she brought the bill despite paying the table multiple times with my empty glass sitting on the edge and food clearly barely touched. CLEANLINESS: While waiting for the food, a chunk of dust/grime residue fell from above the ceiling onto the table. *Will not be returning*"

"Before new owners this place was amazing. New staff as well. Since new owner, new rules. Menu for instance, said my breakfast came with toast. Waitress said it didn't and I showed her. but she said she couldn't do anything about it. I said well I want toast anyways. Then one time I was in for dinner. I wanted cottage cheese instead of a salad. She said she couldn't replace it. I said regardless I want cottage cheese. Several times we crossed this same bridge. Tonight was last straw. My husband and I were in for dinner. Food is always good seriously. Tonight on a Saturday night they are closing at 8p. Never remember that early closing before. We are eating and they are sweeping and mopping with Pine-Sol it was so strong to smell while eating. The girls are wanting to get out. At 7:30 our waitress was trying to decide if they have time to make wings for my husband since they close @ 8pm. I've worked in restaurants before, if a customer came in five minutes before time to close you got to order regardless of what it was!! This place was one of our favorite places to eat. We would drive a county over to eat here. Now it's not a place we will probably ever come back to! Last owners had this place enjoyable to frequent. We miss the place it use to be. By the way, when you checked out at register and when they ask, " Was everything alright"? You tell them anything they would say, I'm sorry... Don't waste your time because they really don't care!"

"Ordered stir fry; main dish not edible, they notice I don’t eat it so they volunteer to remove from bill but they explain they have to increase everything else to do so. Would of been better if they said and did nothing. I wasn’t asking for anything. Still charged $18. Disgusting and petty."

"Family friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Came here for breakfast on a weekday morning-- delicious home-cooked food. Can't recommend the skillets enough. Place has been here for a long time, and will probably stay for another 50 at least if they keep up this quality. Convenient location in the center of Brazil makes it easy to stop by for a bite, and the prices will keep you coming back again and again. I got the eponymous Sunrise Skillet, and my fiance got the Fajita Skillet (and adding his own blend of hot sauce and ketchup)."
