"We just went hiking. The trail was nice until we were almost back to the bike path the. We got attacked by ticks. They were crawling all over our shoes. I would not suggest going on this trail now. Not sure if it’s better in the summer or fall but spring was bad."

"A great trail to take off of the bike path. If you are looking for the trail, park your car at Robinson Lake Park, take the bike path east, and walk until you see the small sign for the woodland trail. It will probably be a 15 or 20 minute walk to the start of the trail. Beautiful view of the lake/river at the end of the trail loop. Also a great place for bird lovers."

"I am 62 now.I discovered this trail many years ago when i lived farther north up in Griffith.I have rode three mountain bikes since i traded them in.So i kept coming here since the trail was created long ago.I now live in Wheatfield Indiana.The closest place we have to go on a bike ride is just wesr of North Judson down the old railroad bed."
