"Great little swimming hole hidden in the outskirts of Hobart. It’s a pain in the but to get to the actual water because you have to walk through a lot of grass to get to it. If you have beach chairs, floats, cooler and toddlers (or younger), the grass is a pain in the butt, plus a lot of holes and uneven areas. There is not much of a Sandy BEACH. It would be so much nicer to have sand in your toes while watching the kids swim. The water itself seemed clean and you had a lot of footage till it got deep. So toddlers and young swimmers had plenty of space to jump around close to the land. The playground is newer and amazing for toddlers. Our three year olds loved playing here. The port a potty was decent too. Only recommendations would be to put sand in to create more of a “beach” and maybe a cement or bricked walking path to the water."

"Visiting from Georgia was looking for a walking park and stumbled on this one and it is so beautiful and clean. Walked the trail and did not realize how long it was, so had to turn around. Met a number of people on the trail that were helpful and very friendly, enjoyed the whole experience."

"Love bringing my dog here. Wonderful spot to take a stroll. We enjoy seeing all the wildlife creatures fly and swim here. Great bike trail along it as well. Whether you are riding solo or it be a family night, this place is definitely worth the ride. Looking forward to many more memories here."

"It’s free and it’s clean! What an awesome little place to go chill with the family. I’ve always seen this lake from the highway and we decided to check it out and I’ve sent. It’s worth it especially for a little kids the water is clear and there is not a lot of vegetation growth impeding your swimming as you would find in other lakes. The beach shallow enough for toddlers. No lifeguards. 2 porta-potty’s 3 covered picnic areas and a set of old swings. You can grill here. Fishing allowed and there’s a trail around the length of the lake with some benches scattered around. A bike trail that leads to the dunes runs thru the parking lot. Help keep it clean, pick up your trash and have fun. It’s rare to find free fun place for the family."
