"Refinished Pullman car looks good. Kids would love climbing on all the train equipment, especially the caboose. $7 donation for adults well worth it. At least five or six trains past by the viewing platform during the hour I was there. That alone is entertaining! Lots of history there, especially the control tower. When it opened, the traffic department at General Housewares was proud to donate track blueprints of the area and national station guides. They're in secure storage now, but maybe mounted and displayed some day. Enjoy the history! Terre Haute loves trains! LOL"

"We had the best time visiting. It looks small but that is deceiving as there is so much to this fabulous small museum. Everything is very hands on. So many freight trains pass by too!"

"The gentleman that was our tour guide was a nice guy and you could tell he loved preserving Rail history. This particular museum was different for me because of the switching towers. I wish they had more volunteers so they could get to work on their displays. I wish I lived in terre haute area so I could help."
