"Very beautiful old cemetery was with my wife on 7/29/23 doing her genealogy work it sure could use some chainsaw work and a weedeater lots of limbs down from the storm a month ago and also a dead tree that's been there a while"

"Rather pretty cemetery. Its reputation is actually dwarfed by Highland, but that should not discourage people from coming here to learn a little bit about Terre haute history. It is the final resting place of one of Franklin Pierce’s drinking buddies. Ed hanegan and is the final resting place of a few Confederate to Weir. Unfortunately, too sick to go to camp Morton. I am still trying to look for one of John Dillinger’s gang members but hopefully will find him soon."
"The lawn and maintenance crew here always does a great job. The grounds always look good. Looks like someone truly takes pride in the work they do. It's nice to know that someone cares about the way that the grave sites are kept up."
