"Today on August 13, 2018 they are doing chip and seal on our normal route to work every single day, Highway 35 and I got out to ask one of the highway department workers which way I could take for the detour and he said, “I don’t know” and I proceeded to get back to my vehicle with no answer on where to go. In my opinion I think somebody who is working for the highway department should definitely know the directions on where to go and there should always be a detour set up if the existing route cannot be taken. I just thought that was pretty rude that he would say that in such a disgraceful voice and turn away and walk away from me. My taxes pay for these guys to have a job and they definitely need freshened up on the road routes and manners!"
