About the Business
Welcome to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, a vibrant and inclusive place of worship located at 1301 North Broom Street, Wilmington, Delaware. As a proud member of the Delaware-Maryland Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), we are committed to fostering a community where everyone is welcome.
Join us for worship services at 9:30 AM in our main sanctuary during the school year and in our chapel during the summer months. For those who cannot attend in person, our Sunday services are available on our YouTube channel.
St. Stephen's is more than just a place of worship; it's a beacon of hope and support for the community. Our LCS Food Pantry operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 AM to noon, and on Wednesdays from 5 PM to 7 PM. We are currently in need of diapers in sizes 3, 4, 5, and 6, as well as baby wipes.
As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, we embrace diversity and inclusivity, believing that the gospel is a gift for all people, regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic status, or other distinctions. We strive for racial equality and justice, living out the message of Ephesians (2:14) that Christ breaks down the dividing walls between us and makes us one.

"They are normally good. Unfortunately, yesterday how I feel changed. First I came to update my info since someone wrote it down wrong. I was last in line and boy was it hot outside. And some of the food I wanted was given I said I didn't want. And what I wanted was given to someone else. I am very disappointed. One of the workers kept saying I know we are getting to you. I haven't been here in a while. Now I am hesitant to come back!"
