Dr. Boris Freyman, DO

"Originally I was a patient of Dr.Jain's, I moved and then I started seeing Dr. Freymans exclusively. I have been with Dr. Freyman for over 20 years and wouldn't go to anyone else. He and all the staff are "GREAT" people."

"Made an appt and took off work to go see the DR. The Dr was sick and I saw a nurse practitioner who just punched my symptoms into a laptop and didn’t look at the affected areas I was complaining about. I didn’t receive a phone call to reschedule since the dr wasn’t available. After a ten minute visit she sent me to an actual Dr. I was able to see him on the same day but because his name wasn’t on my insurance card he would not see me . It was Dr. Freymans partner Dr.Sanjeevani Jain. They told me I had to call my insurance to change the primary dr on my card. I did that and the insurance gave me a reference number to give Dr Jain. All they had to do was call the providers phone number on the back of my card and punch in the reference number which would have told them that they are now the primary dr. He refused and told me I would have to get an email or a fax proving that. The insurance said they aren’t set up to send emails or faxes to dr’s which is why they have the provider number. He refused again to call the number and told me unless I paid in advance he would not see me. The day was wasted. Didn’t work and wasted 3 hours at the drs office to only see a nurse practitioner who was googling my symptoms. I have called the insurance and I explained that they should not be bill for a Dr’s appt because I did not see a Dr. Awful experience besides the lady at the front desk in Dr Jains office . She was very kind. I can’t blame them 100% because I don’t understand how an insurance company can’t fax or email something to a Dr, it’s not 1975, but they were refusing to call the provider number and sent me away for no reason. My child’s dr has used that number for the same reason twice. It’s not a big deal but this Dr was obviously not accommodating . They should look into not accepting that insurance anymore since they aren’t willing to work with their system. I hope this is helpful."

"My Primary Care Physician for many years. Dr. Freyman is the Best! Really knows his stuff and is a "straight - shooter." Doesn't sugar-coat things while being well versed in many fields of disease and human health issues. Dry sense of humor and is a No B.S. kind of Doc. I highly recommend him. Allow me to add, his Assistant, Eileen is top-notch!! She works with the blood testing Co's. to ensure you do not get cheated on over-payments. Also VERY reliable on securing "Legal" re-fills at your local Pharmacy. Love these people in Blairstown."
