"Background: my fiance has gotten very much into fitness this year. We've been to every GNC within 20 minutes of our home. Most have been kind, friendly, helpful. Good people. And then we went to this one, and we will never be back. Here's why: a) Employee #1 was standing in the doorway, the door propped open against his back, talking to Employee #2 who was inside. As we approached the store, Employee #1 turned inside and let the door shut in my fiance's face. Clarification: we were almost at the door. It's not like we were 15 feet away. I thought the guy was going to hold it open for us (LIKE A NICE PERSON WOULD DO), and my fiance was reaching out to grab the frame. Nope. Turned inside, let the door shut, and the proceeded to stand just inside the door talking with Employee #2 as we entered. b) No. Customer. Service. Not a hello, not a hi or how are you or what are you looking for. Nothing. The entire time. Both employees stood, talking at the front of the store while we went back towards the work out powders. They eventually left the front, Employee #2 disappearing in the back of the store while Employee #1 took up a post behind the register, checking out his phone. As if we would buy anything after this crappy service? No. As we left, there was no good bye, no have a nice day. It was like we did not exist. We were the only people in the store, so it's not like they missed us. There was no excuse for this. Do I really need to say more? My fiance loves GNC; he enjoys checking our the products. The location in the Cherry Hill mall specifically has super nice employees, gave him some great information, and has a good product line availability. He usually spends $50-$100 dollars every few months. None of that will be at Mt. Laurel."
