Budget Truck Rental

"Put a reservation in a week in advance. They email me midnight on my move day that they can't supply the truck I need and say oh we are providing ample enough time for you to find other means. Are you kidding me? What kind of business takes reservations and then the day of said reservation goes nope we can't do it. Never again."

"Wish I could give 0 stars!!!The truck that was given to me SHOULD NOT be on the road. On my way to my destination there were times when I felt unsafe!! The check engine light came on....the truck flutters like there's something wrong with the transmission....when you turn the steering wheel....there's all sorts of clunking being made....it sounds like the the truck is just going to come to pieces when doing 55 mph....the passenger side mirror needed to be adjusted throughout the trip....the wiper blades were horrible while it rained. What was suppose to be a 22 hr drive turned into 33 hrs. I missed opportunities because of how long it took. The money that I spent on this truck was not worth it....this was my 1st and last time renting with budget."

"Thier trucks are parked in the dirt over a curb. Service was robotic. And they have nowhere for u to leave your car. I wanted the truck for the full day but the interaction was so drab I got locked into an earlier time after she constantly ask for the specific Other time I would drop it off. Other sites are fine, but if you have to use the deptford location. Just use U-Haul."

"I am a 24yrd with perfect driving history, so I thought renting a truck to move would be easy. I get a discount with the company so the truck would be 15 dollars a day. I have to pay an underage fee of 27 dollars. That's ridiculously. And I turn 25 in under a month. YOUNG PEOPLE NEED TO MOVE TOO."

"While the prices were reasonable for the actual truck rental, I ended up getting screwed with the insurance fee. When renting the truck, the lady working the counter told me that it would be $50 if I wanted insurance on the truck (for a 3-day rental). I accepted as $50 for full coverage isn't a bad deal. Turns out that the $50 fee is per day and she didn't make that clear. I chose budget because it would have been cheaper than U-haul, but ended up paying way more because they didn't make it clear how they were charging me. Also the price that was originally quoted to me over the phone for a daily rental ended up being %25 higher. That being said, the truck was in good condition when I rented it and I had no issues with the equipment itself."
