Avis Car Rental

"If I could this Avis rental location a 0 star I would. The fact that I have been renting from Avis for over 6 years at different rental locations , in different states, spending thousands of dollars only to rent at this location and be charged $460 smoking fee when I don’t even smoke is insane. After calling corporate and getting that fee waived this merchant then charged my card $250 for a dirt fee. Are you serious? So the dirt wasn’t there when you reported the smoke fee? There was no dirt or smoke.And shame on you for thinking you could get over like this. Wrong person. My history with Avis speaks for itself. this is an example of selective customer service on your behalf corporate saw the pics you sent advising they saw no dirt.I plan to file a formal Complaint as well!"

"Great customer service, friendly and professional. I was waiting at the door in the morning before the store opened . The gentleman unlocked the door for me and invited me to have a seat while he logged in. I was on a time crunch but never alluded to that fact and I was promptly checked in and checked out in 5 mins! The car was already waiting for me in the front of the store with a full tank of gas . This is the second car I have rented from this location and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Both cars rented were immaculate and new. Perfect for long one way drives. Thank you Avis."

"I usually wait to do my reviews but I can't hold my tongue this time. The manager at this location was absolutely ignorant. The way he talked to us after we told him there was drink bottles under the seat and the car wasn't cleaned inside OR out, on the way to our destination 900+ miles from home a A1 maintenance light came on so we called the office where we rented it and noone answered so we called the 1800 number and told the operator the light came on so we parked the car and rented scooters to get around there was 300.00 unplanned. On the way back we also called and told them again the light was on they assured us it wasn't a serious issue. When I did my normal vacuuming of the car I found drink bottles left from the previous renters. We took the car back and my husband proceeded to tell the "manager" what happened and he came very short and ignorant. My husband finally got ahold of customer service and they did compensate us for the inconvenience. I do not appreciate being called a liar by someone that wasn't even working the day we took the car, telling us that it was cleaned before we got it, which I, whom owned her own cleaning business said....the paper y'all put in the car saying no dirt, he needs to pay attention to the condition of the cars they rent out. He laughed at me and walked away. Oh by the way, that NO DIRT ALLOWED paper is just so the customer cleans the car so they don't have to. Who wants to be charged 450.00 for a cleaning fee for dirt right? What a joke this place is. Never again will I rent from avis or budget we should have stayed with enterprise. The second photo shows the stain or whatever it was on the back floorboard."
