"My father and his family have been utilizing Shepard Funeral Chapel since the 1940s for their professionalism, courtesy, understanding and compassion when working with family to create the wonderful memorable services and final arrangements for his family’s loved ones who passed away. This partial listing includes his grandmother in 1947, his father in 1995, his brother in 1997 and his mother in 2004. There were also cousins, uncles and aunts who passed away over the decades. All their services were held at Shepard Funeral Chapel. The first service I remember attending personally at Shepard was for the tragic loss of my father's 12-year-old cousin in 1964 when I was 8 years old. Years later, the services for her parents, my father’s aunt, and uncle, were also at Shepard Funeral Chapel. Most recently, and sadly, my mother passed away in September 2023. My father followed her to Heaven exactly two months to the day later in November 2023. We trusted and worked with Mitch and the wonderful staff at Shepard to prepare their final services and arrangements. Thank you very much to Mitch and everyone past and present at Shepard Funeral Chapel for the eight decades of compassionate understanding, memorable service, and their invaluable assistance."
