"Be aware of the ‘rent to own’ program. You can find what you need used on Amazon for about 10%-20% of the cost. We were led to believe this was the ‘place’ we needed to get our 7th grader’s trumpet from the school district. After it’s all said and done, we will pay over $1200 to participate in school band, and West Music was nice enough to offer to buy our 2 year old barely used trumpet back for $100-$300 after selling it to us for $900. Just make sure you really understand the West Music contract as it’s clearly written to make a strong profit for the company."
"We came in with lots of questions about our accounts and instruments at the Davenport location. Both KMCK and Dana did an amazing job. She did all the paperwork with getting our accounts in order and helping to finance for a cello purchase. We had issues with rewards points that had gone missing with the transition from Griggs as well. She was extremely helpful and got it all in order. Im so glad I went in person and not over the phone. Dana came in and worked with us on the instruments and getting the best fit. We have seen Dana for many years. He is always wonderful and knowledgeable. In the end we walked out with a beautiful instrument, a fix rental, and our account in order. The feeling of appreciation and satisfaction was very high. Thank you to you both for a great morning.
