"I am waiting for Alderman Vaccaro to return my call. I called last week and left a message. I did receive a call back a few days later from Teresa the liaison who takes calls for the alderpersons (??). Anyway the message says due to the Covid situation they no longer have regular office hours. They shouldn't hide behind that. You can still make a phone call. As citizens/residents we do have to stay on them. I attended a zoom meeting re public health/Covid and a survey they want to do of residents re the city's public health dept. It was fairly informative but listeners were not allowed to participate or ask questions. There does need to be more transparency and opportunity for the public to interact. I will see what happens with my situation. I had a fall in Tillis park due to an ongoing drainage problem there. I would like to see that situation fixed. It is definitely a liability for the city/parks. Come on, I really don't wnat to sue."
