"Absolute waste of my tax dollars. Came here three times now just to get a tax waiver for my car (something that’s not even a thing in most states). Their website and google hours are all wrong. First time I came, it was right around 4, their website says open until 5, but was told the assessor’s office is only open 7-3. I come here again around noon another Friday and all of city hall is closed. I come here at third time right at 7am to beat the crowd and the security guard tells me they open at 8am. I’ve now taken so much time out of my days and time off work just for nothing. Don’t even get me started on the taxes here in St Louis, with how much they collect they should easily be able to afford to open city hall up longer and even on Saturdays, let alone keep their website and pages updated."

"Went in expecting a long wait based on some of these reviews. Happy to report that everything went smooth, I got the forms I needed and the office staff was amazing. Even got a piece of a crazy birthday cake* as it was apparently an extra from a staff party. Don’t believe the haters, this STL City office goes above and beyond for our citizens. *still had to pay my taxes, cake was not extra."
