Established in 1953, we are dedicated to safeguarding the lives and property of over 134,000 residents across a 52 square mile area, which encompasses residential neighborhoods, bustling highways, commercial complexes, industrial sites, a major medical center, significant rail lines, and over 10 miles of scenic waterfront.
As pioneers in fire and rescue operations, we are committed to excellence, utilizing cutting-edge emergency medical services to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. Our district is equipped with seven engine houses and ambulances, ready to respond 24/7 to any emergency.
We take pride in being Missouri’s first Safe Haven Baby Box location, providing a safe and anonymous option for infants in need at our House 2 on Telegraph Road. For more information on our locations, click HERE.
Our services extend beyond emergency response. We offer car seat inspections with our certified Child Passenger Seat Technicians, and we invite you to fill out a form for assistance. Additionally, we provide fire safety training and educational visits to schools and businesses—simply fill out the respective form to request a session.
