"First time customer at the Overland location and my experience was so disappointing. Today I went in to get a charger and look around at the new products. I got my things and headed to self checkout. All of the self checkout counters were closed except one and there were 6 counters. 2 cashiers stood in the front so there was a wait. When I got to the self check out the cashier stood at the counter with me and proceeded to try and ring my items out at the self checkout. The space is very limited I had to items and I’ve used self check out plenty times before so I didn’t need assistance. I asked the cashier is this the new rule that you have to check customers out at “SELF CHECKOUT “ she said no but continue standing in the limited space. I said can I have some space please and she moved back and gave me space to scan my items and checkout. This encounter was very calm. The other cashier started raising her and saying she does have to ring you out those are the rules so next time just know that. I was taken back in that situation. I told her I did ask her is that the rule she said no. No one wants to be treated like a criminal. So if you don’t want there to be a self checkout get rid of them and go back to the old ways of cashiering. When you’re paying for things you want feel secure when your debit cards not someone standing directly beside you when you’re swiping your card and entering your PIN number. If you guys are having trouble with that’s not the way to go about it treating everyone like a criminal."
