This collaboration ensures a seamless rehabilitation process, often conveniently located within the same building as your doctor.
Rehabilitation at Hughston begins with the acute phase, focusing on pain reduction, swelling minimization, and increased motion and strength. This phase can start just days after an injury or surgery and typically lasts 4 to 8 weeks, depending on your physician’s recommendations. Following this, our individualized conditioning program prepares you to return to sports, work, or daily activities, emphasizing full-body strength and endurance.
When you visit us for your initial appointment, our friendly office staff will assist you with insurance information and claims. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, such as shorts and a t-shirt, to allow for easy movement during your physical therapy sessions. Please arrive 10 minutes early and plan for your session to last up to an hour.
