"You shouldn't have to tell the receptionist your business, she will not even let you speak to the nurse or make an appointment even though you been a patient for 30 years. Will be considering another doctor."

"Have been going to Dr. Melvin for many years and have always had great visits, including referrals for health issues that aren't tended to by general practionerers."

"Maybe it is time to retire. We should be aware that a human being is not just complaining. We are looking for the doctor to care enough to reach out to a family dealing with a potential medical emergency due to the inability to get lifesaving medication in a timely manner. I lost my father a few years back to cancer. During the same time period I almost lost my brother to a massive stroke. It was no small thing what my family has gone through. His medication is not only necessary but vital to his life. I would appreciate if anyone would apologize or try to fix the error they did absolutely make. Just fyi, My brother was one of the first on ground and last out of Iraq. My father, was also a veteran. We are proud of what our family has done for our country. However, they did not stop fighting to celebrate a holiday created to honor them. It would be greatly appreciated if someone in that office apologized for such uncaring attitudes."

"I can be sure the doctor knows when their care is below standards. But, if they don't know how uncaring and thoughtless their employees (receptionist) are, then the training is lacking and maybe the doctor and their staff should go work for someone else...or relinquish their license. When an elderly mother is taking care of her disabled, Veteran son, and the office says, "if he's about to have a seizure you should take him to the ER"...or cannot help with redirecting a time-critical prescription....and the doctor cannot make it right, it's time to at least Google search a new doctor. If you don't go elsewhere, you will risk the life of the ones you love."

"My brother has seizures now since coming home from Iraq. He was left without his medication because they called it in to the wrong pharmacy, and then given the runaround and told he had to wait. In the end, we were told, "if he looks like he is going to have a seizure, take him to the emergency room". If I could give -5 stars, I would. I simply hope this doctor and the "pharmacy" do not cause any more harm to another family. We will be finding another doctor! FYI, they are also closed on Veterans Day. Ironic!!!!"
