"Take your business across the river to Illinois. LeClaire has installed speed trap cameras. There is no way to contest your ticket. I never even drove a car on my entire visit. 7 tickets with the same photo and same background. Eat, Shop, and Stay in Port Byron or elsewhere…avoid LeClaire."

"Predatory speed traps, I'll be boycotting LeClaire and Businesses. I get a speed trap close to the street going through the city. However a predatory speed trap on the interstate where your software vendor gets 35% of the fines. 6 Million in generated revenue...pure cash grab, City Officals also state they do not know whether it has an impact on traffic and have no plans to analyze the data. Pretty Blatant if you ask me."

"This city is running a money making scheme (6 million a year) by putting up an automated camera speed trap on I-80 just as you cross over the Mississippi bridge into iowa. The 65 mph speed limit catches thousands every week"
