"This is probably the only google review I’ve ever done… I moved to Rome earlier this year, and even though I’ve known nothing but good things from the people I know. Every once in a while I drop in to grab a water or small item. There is a (little, mentally and physically) man there who I typically deal with, and it’s always an awkward interaction yet I move on with the day. He was incredibly rude to me and condescending that I decided to say, “Are you alright?” No reply apart from, “are you going to buy your water?” So i said, “I’m Just going to take my business elsewhere.”(half a mile down the street) DO NOT GO HERE. Best protest is with your dollar, and I find it’s important to not allow others to be insulting and rude to you. I don’t believe in complaints without offering solutions, so here is my solution: Go to Chevron on E. 2nd Street, or further north, the Citgo(Omar is the owner who is almost always there and civil, respectful, and courteous) at Martha Berry/John Davenport. If you go to Citgo, mention my name if you want. We’ve become friends, and I even will drop in just to shoot the breeze at times. God Bless, and remember, Everyone’s fighting a battle you have no idea about. Be kind whenever possible; it’s always possible. Pray for that little guy, but by all means avoid the location."
