"Stopped in for a filter for an aquarium, and I was appalled at the condition of the fish tanks. Floating debris everywhere. Not to mention the salesperson was extremely rude when I asked if someone could check me out at the register. Left and will NOT be back!"

"This place was cool! So many pets! Birds, puppies, fish, snakes, lizards, rabbits, ferrets ect. I enjoyed going just for the fun of it! It was like a mini zoo (the handlers/salespeople were actually called zookeepers). The price of the puppies was very high. 2500 for a Maltese. Will return just won't be buying a puppy lol"

"Love this place!! Always so helpful. I buy all my feeders here and there always so friendly and make sure my animals have the best care. They know so much about there animals and helped me so much. I talked to the district manager about how he goes down to Florida to get the best birds and everything that goes into them like feeding them every 2 hours for weeks before brining them to the store. Then they get amazing care in the store. Workers making sure they get out and stretch their wings. Making sure they’re also handled often so they don’t become mean and bite. They’re very educated on all the animals too."

"Have been doing business here for years. Today (10/05/23) my wife and I went in looking for birds and saw that they had a cockatoo available. The district manager Chris, was very helpful and patient with us. He made the process easy and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend petland to anyone looking for a pet."

"Went in there foe the first time in years since we were in town visiting family. In the past we had issues; rabbit dying within a few days of purchase, etc. BUT what I witness today was absolutely atrocious. All the animal displays were filthy, the ferret pen had poop smeared all over the glass, and all the animals seemed overcrowded in their dirty and small enclosures. They had a baby parrot in a cage and it was sitting on the ground with food debris and poop almost covering the whole bottom. Worst of all the aquarium section was abysmal, every betta was dead...but still on display? Some of them had obviously been there awhile as they already had fungus or whatever growing on the corpses. The live tanks were no better with many dead fish mixed in with live. Some of the tanks appeared to have a weird algae taking them over, the water also seemed to be very cloudy. I wouldn't risk buying any aquatic life here as you have no idea what you'd be bringing home to your tank. It's obvious that the owners/workers don't care about animal husbandry at all and are only in it for the money."
