"My wife and I use to go here almost every weekend before it changed ownership. We have been all over the country and couldn’t believe our luck having one of the best little breakfast diners right in town. Then the ownership changed, and with it, the service and the quality. Our first time under the new ownership was shortly after the change over and we were happy to see it was essentially the same menu with different names. Unfortunately, that is where the similarities ended. There were all new servers, which is the be expected, but they were wholly uninterested in much of anything. Took about 20 minutes to greet us with only two other tables besides us there and everyone else already eating. Growing pains, right? Eh, I guess the back of house staff changed too. Food looked the same, but some of the ingredients weren’t cooked enough. Cold hash browns, much lower quality sausage…it really was disappointing, but again, it’s hard to run a small business. We decided to give it a try again about a month later. I cannot express enough how disappointed we were that it had gotten worse. Some of the things might be out of their control, like being short staffed, but it certainly wasn’t busy. Looked like staff was all sitting at a table and talking and hanging out. Again, disinterested staff, poor quality of ingredients, and this time it wasn’t clean. So the next time was several months later. The experience was kind of the same. Even more time passes, my wife and I give it another try. Again, kind of the same. We tried again today. Service was so rough another customer commented about it to my wife. The food was much better though. I guess it’s just a bummer that this is kind of what it is now. We haven’t seen any of the regulars there the last few times we’ve gone in either. I used to sing my wife this stupid song about this place to get her excited to go. She commented this morning “wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard this one”. Yea, it has."

"I used to love eating here. Now there are new owners and I will never go back again. I’ve tried it two or three times with the new owners. I went in for lunch today, looked over the menu, and the waitress said probably the best thing is the burger, so I got a Swiss mushroom burger. What i got was a burger with diced onions that were raw and diced mushrooms. They were kind of gross, and raw french fries. So I asked for new french fries and they came out raw again on the inside. So I told them that they’re still raw and the burger was gross and she said sorry and didn’t charge me. And, the rest of the day i smelled so much like grease that people commented on it."

"My wife and I like this place and the food is usually pretty good. But today was not so good. My wife ordered a toasted cheese sandwich, it came out cold, no brown marks and the cheese was not even close to being melted. I ordered a mushroom cheese burger, mushrooms were chunks and ice cold. When we complained, the guy told us sorry and would tell them cook, no take backs, no discounts, just a goodbye. Will be awhile before we bother going back."
