Located at 1860 Saint Ambrose Street in Dubuque, Iowa, Power of Prayer Inc. is a sacred haven dedicated to the spiritual practice of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration. Nestled just two doors away from St. Anthony's Catholic Church, our chapel is a sanctuary where individuals can find peace, solace, and a deep connection with Jesus Christ, present in the Holy Eucharist.
Since its inception on July 25, 1978, blessed by Archbishop James J. Byrne, our chapel has been a beacon of devotion. With the growth of our community, we now offer two concurrent programs: Perpetual Adoration and the Perpetual Rosary. Our doors are open 24/7, welcoming anyone seeking to spend a few moments—or more—in prayer and adoration.
Every Wednesday at 2:15 pm, we hold a Pro-Life Mass on the Mass side of the chapel, where all are invited to join in prayer and reflection. Additionally, we proudly sponsor the Pilgrim Virgin Home Visitation Program, extending our mission beyond the chapel walls.
Power of Prayer Inc. thrives solely through the generosity of our supporters. As a 501(c)3 organization, we receive no financial assistance from the Archdiocese of Dubuque or any other entity. We are deeply grateful for the donations we receive, all of which are tax-deductible, as they enable us to continue our mission of faith and community service.
