"I needed to replace my asphalt roof, it had several leaks , and was 22 years old. The Florida sun had cooked my brown asphalt roof for many years. When in my house , I could always tell where the sun was, when it was on the west side of my house, the A/C would run more, to fight off the heat from the brown roof . Since I added the light color metal roof, the house does not heat up from the roof heat coming thru. They put my new metal roof , right over my old brown roof, leaving the asphalt shingles on the roof. This just added another layer of insulation , and sound deadening . Glen and the roof crew showed up , right on schedule, and installed the roof . They did an excellent job, the building inspector for Washington County could find no fault with anything, saying that I had an excellent new roof. Many thanks to all involved....."
