"Lakeview Memory Gardens has gone downhill drastically since bought out by the corporate world. Your website states that you take perpetual care of your grounds. That is a joke! My grandfather was buried yesterday with no sod laid down. The Sacred Heart area is pitiful. We passed a grave yesterday that had washed out near the road due to rain, with a sign stating “this is a grave”! Debra, put a cherry on top for the horrible care we received. We went in as a family, she was so rude, never said sorry for your loss much less, how are you doing today?! She’s in the wrong profession."

"A one-star rating is one star too high, but zero is not an option. My mother died & was buried in March 2023; 14 months later, and her gravesite has never had sod established. Today I was horrified to find the dirt scraped away from her bottom of her headstone and a large hole filled with water directly in front of it. Yes, we had heavy rain today, but there was not a single other gravesite in that entire section that had even a small puddle in front of it. I called the manager Monday, requesting an appointment this afternoon to have plots transferred to a buyer. Since I had to leave a message, I called the cemetery office directly, and Debra assured me that we had an appointment at 3:30 on Thursday. At first, she said she would be happy to help me, but then she said that Alisa had us on her book. Today I learned that today was Deborah’s day off.. And Alisa had not been informed of the appointment. When the buyer and I were both in the office (at 3:00 for a 3:30 appointment), Alisa informed us that she was going to have to check on a funeral, and she would probably not be available until 4 o’clock. I picked up my phone and called Mr. ROGERS, the manager, and things changed rather dramatically. Alissa WAS Able to complete the documents. She stepped out once for about three minutes, saying she was checking on the funeral. Also, Debra told me on Monday that we did not have to have a second buyer sign the agreement today, but Alisa said we needed that signature, so the buyer had to call her daughter and asked her to come to the office. When I listed the 3 plots fir sale, I called to inquire if double depth burial was allowed, and I was told it was not. Today, Alisa told the buyer that she could bury six people in those three plots. If my mother had not bought an expensive monument for Dad and herself, I would have them moved to another cemetery. I have asked repeatedly for a copy of the perpetual care agreement, and I have been waiting over a year for that. I’m not sure what the document says, but I know that their practice is to offer next to NO perpetual care. My only comfort comes from knowing my parents are not there. And, if they can view me from their home in heaven, I know they would appreciate my fruitless attempts to maintain their gravesites."

"We had recently begun the advanced planning for our funerals, and needed to secure burial plots as well. We met with Alisa and from the very start I knew we were gonna get along famously!! She showed us a couple of locations and we chose a lovely area up the hill near the back. We ended up with 3 plots and a bench right, as we were also looking to move our daughter here from Ohio. Alisa helped with that process as well, putting us in touch with the right folks to get that ball rolling. She also help me design and order our headstone and bench, and made sure all t’s were crossed and i’s dotted so there would be no surprises when the time comes for us to “need” our plots. No one likes to talk about these things or make these plans, but when the time comes and you’re ready, or have an immediate need go see Alisa!!!"
