"I came to HTM when I was 16. I was abandoned by my biological parents at 5 years old so I spent majority of my childhood hating them and myself. I had closed my heart off to the world and refused to let anyone close. I had thought about killing myself at 16 but got scared when I tried.. It was at HTM that I found the love I never thought I deserved. Eitl the help from the staff, I knew that I WAS good enough to be loved. I let go of my hatred towards my biological parents and myself and found happiness. My relationship with my adopted family also got better. I graduated there and Interned for 2 years. Now thinking back about my past, I can't belied that the girl filled eith anger and hatred toward this world could really have a genuine smile on my face. So, THANK YOU"

"Harvest Time has been the best thing that ever happened to me! It was here that I truly found the love of my Saviour. I came into this ministry at 17, and my life was a mess. I was so insecure and broken. I thought the only way to cope with my pain was to starve and mutilate myself. I had been to other places, seen several therapists, and tried a lot of different medications. Nothing worked. I thought my life was hopeless. When I first entered Harvest Time, I didn’t think it would be any different from all the other “solutions” my family had tried. But I could not have been more wrong! One of the first things I noticed was the love of Rev. Shawn and the staff. Even when I refused to change or simply had a bad day, their love for me never changed. It was their compassion for me that ultimately brought me closer to my Father’s heart. They showed me how to find my worth in Jesus, not in my appearance. Now I find my comfort and confidence in Christ. It is only because of Him that I am saved and set free! Now I have been on staff here for over 2 years, and it has been the most amazing and rewarding experience. I love coming to work and serving God every day. My life and my family’s lives have been forever changed because of Harvest Time. I am so grateful that God brought me to this ministry."

"As a staff member here at Harvest Time I've been so blessed. Blessed to have gotten to know and help so many young and hurting girls. When I joined the Harvest Time Ministry team 4 years ago, I had no idea that this adventure would be so life changing. I could not have fathomed that my life would be so drastically changed. As I began teaching young girls how to deal with their rejection, hurt and/or abuse I began to see the love of God flow in a way that was truly breath taking. I saw lives changes, people healed and set free. I saw young people learn how to respect and love themselves and see their true worth. All I know is their is a true and living God. He is a God that truly Loves us and wants to see us set free. He has given me the ppportumity to see this first hand here at Harvest Time Ministry! "I came to Harvest Time in July of 2006. I was 20 years old and my life was truly a disaster. I was heavily into self- mutilation and had been suffering from an eating disorder since I was 15. I survived a suicide attempt when I was 19 but was still so lost and broken. I had no hope for my future and had plans to successfully end my life before I turned 21. That all changed when I came to Harvest Time Ministries. Rev Shawn and the staff here truly cared about Me and the rest of the students! They didn’t just talk the talk but they walked the walk and you could tell they genuinely wanted us to succeed in life! I found a joy and peace I never knew before! I saw a future for myself and was finally excited about living! I graduated the program in January of 2008, interned for one year, and now I’ve been on staff for almost 10 years! It has been the best 12 years of my life!!! My family is still blown away by all the positive changes I’ve made since being here! This is a place where true change can happen and you can become something bigger than yourself! God is definitely working miracles through this place and touching countless lives!"
