"I want to begin by acknowledging that the people were pleasant enough, but niceness alone doesn't ensure comfort in one's home. My experience staying in a mobile home for the first time was far from smooth. Despite following all instructions provided by the mobile home complex, I encountered numerous challenges. One major issue was the failure to receive my mail despite complying with the complex's guidelines. Additionally, my internet connection was repeatedly disrupted due to ongoing construction, leaving me without service for days on end until the cable company could rectify the situation. On one occasion, I was even locked out of my home after using the back door, and the spare key proved ineffective, forcing me to walk to the leasing office in my loungewear. Furthermore, the siding of my mobile home fell off three times, creating a noisy and unpleasant experience as it slammed against the structure. Throughout these incidents, no apologies were offered. Despite never missing a rent payment during my year-long stay, I encountered these issues persistently. Upon finally receiving my deposit back, I discovered a deduction of $275 labeled as a cleaning fee, which I cannot locate in the lease agreement. Throughout my tenure, I remained composed despite the lack of clarity and consistency in communication. I insist on the return of the $275 deducted from my deposit. The inconsistency and constant anxiety I experienced were taxing. A $275 fee seems excessive considering I stayed alone in a three-bedroom mobile home and primarily utilized only one bedroom, the kitchen, and the bathroom. Additionally, I recommend improvements such as paving the roads and adding lighting for better visibility when accessing our homes."
