"Bunkers are unplayable with weeds growing in them and even when there are no weeds the sand is a compacted clay like feel. The greens are cut well but have dead spots with dirt and sand where the grass has died. I would pay maybe half of what they charge to play. The staff is awesome though!"

"The fairways and greens are very maintained. Fair price for 18 holes. We had the pleasure of golfing on the 4th so not many people on the course. Kitchen was fantastic. We sat at the bar and Mindy was fantastic! Will return again!"

"The tee box’s and fairways are in decent shape, fun lay out, carts are a bit old but still work well, no tees or towels in the carts, at $60 you should at least provide tees. Range is in okay shape, you get to hit off grass which is nice. The club house is nice, and the staff was friendly. The course was wide open probably due to the horrible greens see blow, but nice pace of play. The greens and bunkers are in horrible shape, they have some type of fungus on the greens and you end up putting in mud. The bunkers have weeds growing in them and the sand is super hard and compacted. The course had definitely seen better days, $60 plus $10 for range balls this course is definitely not worth it. Fix your greens and you have a great course!"

"A hidden gem. Scenic course and usually maintained well for a fair price. The greens are on a decline as of late. There are plenty of tee times available every weekend. The cart path has been regraded in some spots but could improve. The range balls are terrible. There is a specific member that drives up to the greens every time I’m out there and they don’t seem to do much about it. Update: The guy that drives on the greens is back in action. New pics from 11/12."

"Laurel Island review I want to thank Ricky, Danielle, and the whole staff at Bogeys Laurel Island. You made our July 8, 2023 wedding & reception one of the most memorable days for us. You had everything set up and ready for our special day beautifully. All our guests had the best time! The food was perfect and the champagne toast was just how we wanted it. I would recommend anyone wanting a special day to be perfect to do it at Laurel! Thank you, Tim & Tanya Shipley"
