"What a great experience we had with Mr. Nelson describing every little detail about the history behind each piece of glass. It’s a must see historical gem!!! The admission fee is $10 per adult and $5 under the age of fifteen."
"We had a wonderful time touring this gem of a museum. The highlight was definitely having the awesome Mr. Nelson guide us around. With all his knowledge and insight into the pieces, it added that extra special spark of enjoyment. If you love glass and history, definitely come here. Our special thanks for such a marvelous afternoon."
"I had an incredible experience at the New Bedford Glass Museum with my boyfriend. The museum, nestled in a charming historical building, is an absolute gem. Every corner is filled with stunning glass pieces that span history and styles, each with its own unique story. We also had the pleasure of meeting the museum cat, Angus, who added a touch of whimsy to our visit. Our guide's passion and extensive knowledge were truly remarkable and added significantly to our experience. We spent about two hours learning about fun Easter eggs in glass history, completely transfixed by the exquisite artifacts. The $10 admission fee is a small price to pay for the wealth of knowledge and beauty you'll encounter. Additionally, the museum houses a delightful gift shop with a range of unique and beautiful glass pieces. I left the museum not just with a greater appreciation for the art of glassmaking, but also brimming with inspiration. I highly recommend the New Bedford Glass Museum to everyone - it's a must-see!"
"An affordable way to spend a few hours. Do a lap around the museum then let the director do his tour and your mind will be blown at all the details you missed about the collection. Will be sending friends and family here to visit. The location is also a huge plus because you get to see inside a vintage mansion that now acts as a clubhouse."
"I just stopped by today for the first time and had an amazing time. The museum is located downstairs in a historical building which offers its own parking lot. The museum consists of one room however there are plenty of displays and if you enjoy the pieces and join the small tour of the pieces an hour will go by fast here. Admission is $10/adult but it was worth it for me to view these glass artworks and to support a local museum."
