Guacamole Mexican Restaurant

"I would give this place a ZERO in service if I could. A new girl was our waitress. She got the order wrong then they charged us for the WRONG order and they threw a fit when we said we weren’t paying for it. The girl came to the table every 2 minutes and just stood there until we said we’re okay, not once did she ask if we needed refills.She wanted to take our plates before we were even done eating. She took my grandmothers plate out from under her while she was literally scooping her last bite!!! She asked if we were ready for the bill before we were done eating. She took the plates before even bringing the bill. It was insane. I’ve never seen anything like it. After my grandmother said she wasn’t paying for the extra stuff that we didn’t order, another lady came over and said “I ADJUSTED IT BUT YOU SHOULDVE PAID FOR IT. HAVE A NICE DAY.” When she was told how nasty her attitude was she got even louder. The food is good but the service is terrible."

"I went on a weeknight and business was slow so I was surprised to see the service was slow and negligent. My glass was empty for most of my meal. I literally had to leave the table to get someone to give me a refill. I ordered guacamole thinking it had to be amazing based on the name of the restaurant. The waiter forgot to bring it and I had to track him down yet again to inquire about the missing guacamole. When he brought it out (finally) it wasn’t fresh. It was a pea green soupy consistency. I could’ve sucked it through a straw, literally. It tasted like watery paste. No flavor or seasoning to speak of. I was also disappointed with my fajitas. The meat was chewy, tough and flavorless. There was gristle in it as well and as soon as I bit into it, I was done! It was sickening. I spent over $40 on my meal and left there hungry. I was very disappointed in the food and the service. I doubt I will ever go back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE."

"The food was pretty good. I was seated immediately with no wait. The waitress was also very sweet and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. The fresh guacamole was really good. I wish they offered a half portion. It was a little pricey for the amount of food you get but it was still good. Would definitely eat here again"

"We were looking for a place to eat lunch coming thru Lyons. We saw Guacamole’s and decided to stop. It was 2pm and I was a little concerned the food may not be the freshest. They brought the chips and salsa and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. We got a 32 oz cup to take home!! I had the steak burrito with rice. It was hot, fresh and delicious! The service was great also! We will be back!"
