He diagnosed the charging port was fried, and the battery not working or worth replacing. He will download my data Then I’ll update this review. Dave came through as promised. $70 to back up my computer on a drive."

David took it and called me back hour with his diagnosis, turns out the battery completely died. He ordered a new one and had it back up and running in 2 days. Much better experience with him than with Best Buy/Geek Squad, price was perfectly fair for the part/labor.
